Rental Information

Lakemba Real Estate

All tenants applying for properties are required to print out the application form, and privacy forms below. These can be brought to our office. They may also be scanned back to andy_palumbo@bigpond.com.au or faxed to 9750 3692.

Please note potential tenants MUST READ and PROVIDE following the documentation with their application.

  • Photo ID – either passport or driver’s licence
  • Proof of current residential address – eg utilities bill or tax assessment
  • References or phone numbers of employer and previous employer if less than two years
  • Four recent pay slips or otherwise bank statements for 2 months
  • If you are self-employed, ABN, Tax assessment and recent BAS
  • If you are eligible for Centrelink a recent payments statement
  • Rental history (from current rental property – ask the landlord/agent, even if you are sharing).


  • Upon approval, a holding deposit of one week’s rent must be paid in office, in person, in cash – this holding deposit is non-refundable if you cancel after being accepted.
  • The balance of five week’s rent (four week’s bond, two week’s rent in advance less the holding deposit) must be paid in person in cash in the office, at commencement of the lease.
  • Subsequent rent payments are payable in cash (in office) or else money order, cheque or bank cheque – in person or via post.
  • Please note we do not do electronic transfers; we do not sign ongoing rent certificate, and we do not accept mobile only phone numbers on application. You must also provide landline numbers.
  • New tenants please note you must check with Telstra to see if a line already exists and note that dishes for Pay TV/Satellite dishes are not permitted on any of our buildings.
  • If you need repairs, please fill in a maintenance repair request form below and send back to us.
